Books: Whether searching for literary criticism or best sellers, you can use your Dally library card to locate as many books as you need.  There is no limit to the number of books you can check out.

Magazines: 40+ on-site periodicals include Newsweek, Time, US News & World Report, Readers' digest and many others.

High Speed Internet: You can use library computers for internet access and for typing reports and creating spreadsheets and graphs.

Music: Order CDs of your favorite bands and performers through interlibrary loan and in just a few days, the music is yours to enjoy.  No cost!

Movies: You have access to any film in the state library system and there's lots!  Most orders arrive in just a few days.  And guess what?  There's no cost!

TV Shows: From Band of Brothers for your history report to Smallville for relaxation, a wide variety of shows are available through interlibrary loan.  Again, no cost!
 

It's all yours through the Dally online card catalog!  You can search 24/7 from any computer... at home, at school and at the library.  Stop by the library in Sardis and the people there will help you with your search.  From the online catalog you can also:

  • Check the status of items you've requested

  • Renew items from home (if they're not already due)

  • Get a list of items that you've checked out

  • Keep a list of items that you want to request in the future

When your requests arrive at Dally, we'll give you a call or send an email to let you know when you can pick them up.  When finished, just return the material to Dally and we'll send it back for you.  No charge!

Your Dally card is good at most area libraries including New Matamoras, Powhatan Point and Woodsfield.  If you have items from other libraries, bring them to Dally and we'll check them in and send them back for you.
